"For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you welcomed me; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me...as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me." - Matthew 25:35-36, 40

This year, for Lent, we are doing two outreach drives: one local, one more far-reaching.

This year we will be collecting items for the students at the North Saginaw Charter Academy, beginning on Clean Monday (March 18th) and ending on Pascha (May 5th). The donation list will be posted in the Narthex and published in the weekly bulletin/monthly newsletter, and you can also download it here.

We are also running our annual "Tournament of Champions" to collect funds to support the International Orthodox Christian Charities, or IOCC, in their relief work in the Holy Land. There are three jars in the Narthex outside the Church office where funds may be donated, each decorated in the colors of MSU, UofM, and CMU respectively. The jar that collects the most by Pascha will be announced (and honored) at the Pascha meal. For more information, click here for the flyer. May the most dedicated fan base win!
